I read the reviews beforehand and they were pretty harsh. Watching the movie by myself, I found as a teenager with a romantic side, this movie was aboslutley amazing. It's pretty true to high school and teenage life and the charactarization of the main character George was well done. There were numerous moments where I curled up in my seat at the romantic sweetness, so precious it almost hurt. With a some twists that suprised me, the climax makes you wonder how the end will come out. It was written well, some parts making you want to cuddle with a significant other, other parts making you want to yell out at the screen. So if you have a partner willing, or even if you're just a romantic person, I highly suggest going to it. You will not regret it.

I took my 13 year old and her 2 friends. They Loved it because it was the relationship between George and Sally was funny and the story between them was interesting. I thought it was a cute little romatic comedy. The movie is primarily about the relationship between George and Sally. Freddie Highmore who plays George, Emma Roberts who plays Sally, and Michael Angarano who plays Dustin do a good job in the movie. George is a guy with a few odd quirks who is struggling with finding a reason to do his work. Sally is a popular girl who befriends george and likes his little quirks. Dustin becomes kind of a mentor to George. The acting and chemistry between all the actors really come's through and was well done. I would say this movie would be best suited towards the teens and early 20's, but I think anyone would find it enjoyable.
